Pioneer Saloon

Pioneer Saloon is one of the restaurants that I miss the most when I’m away from home. I spent a few summers working as a cashier here, and I was lucky to try most of the items on their menu. If you’re in town looking for a tasty and authentic Japanese plate lunch, then Pioneer Saloon is the way to go. My favorite dish has to be the Garlic Ahi Steak, medium-rare, with Shiso Wakame rice and pasta salad. You can go check them out on Monsarrat Ave near Diamond Head, or at SALT at Kaka’ako!
